Leaders in energy, housing, healthcare, and tourism discuss reconstruction needs and priorities in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
 
10:30 a.m. Creating Jobs and Building Small Business -
Discussion on initiatives to create jobs and assist small business in the Gulf Coast region.
 
11:00 a.m. Corporate Sector Involvement -
Contracting experts discuss the recent federal funding and contracts to aide the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
 
12:00 a.m. Environmental and Contamination Issues -
Discussion on securing exemptions from federal and state emergency response regulations; securing liability protection for cleanup contractors; minimizing potential liability associated with releases of hazardous materials from Katrina damaged facilities; and more.
